    "no" : "Jeg tiltrådte som professor i antikke og tidligkristne studier ved MF i 2015. Jeg har tidligere vært ansatt som førsteamanuensis ved Department of Ancient History ved Macquire University i Sydney. Jeg har også vært engasjert i forsknings- og undervisningsstillinger ved Institut français d'archéologie orientale (Kairo) og ved Université Laval (Québec).\r\n\r\nMine forskningsinteresser og undervisningsaktiviteter spenner bredt og over flere tilknyttede felt, fra arkeologi (spesielt Egypt og Dalmatia), til språk (hovedsakelig koptisk, gammelegyptisk, arabisk, syrisk, gammel nord arabisk), epigrafi, papyrologi, osv. De siste tjue årene har jeg ledet flere arkeologiske prosjekter på vegne av Institut français d'archéologie orientale. Siden 2014 har jeg ledet utgravninger i Bribir i Kroatia. Jeg er for tiden hovedforsker av det ERC-finansierte forskningsprosjektet DEChriM og jeg leder utgravningene ved Dush (Kharga Oase) og Tell Ganub Qasr al-Aguz (Bahriyya Oase), og co-dirigerer utgravningene ved Shams al-Din og Dayr Mustafa Kashif (Kharga Oase).",
    "en" : "I joined the MF University as Professor of Antiquity and Early Christian Studies in 2015, prior to which I held a tenured lectureship at the Department of Ancient History of Macquarie University, in Sydney. Early career research and teaching appointments included positions at the French Institute of Oriental Archaeology (Cairo) and Université Laval (Quebec City).\r\n\r\nMy research interests span several fields relating to Late Antiquity and Early Christianity, from archaeology (particularly Egypt and Dalmatia), to languages (mainly Coptic, Old Egyptian, Arabic, Syriac, Ancient North Arabian), epigraphy, papyrology, etc. Over the last twenty years, I have been leading several archaeological projects on behalf of the French Institute of Oriental Archaeology. Since 2014, I direct also the excavations at [Bribir](http://www.varvaria-breberium-bribir.org/), in Croatia. I am currently the principal investigator of the ERC-funded research project [DEChriM](https://4care-skos.mf.no/) and I lead the excavations at [Dush](https://www.ifao.egnet.net/re) (Kharga Oasis) and Tell Ganub Qasr al-Aguz (Bahriyya Oasis), and co-direct the excavations at Shams al-Din and Dayr Mustafa Kashif (Kharga Oasis)."
